SVG to PNG Converter
Render any SVG file to a crisp, high-resolution PNG, JPEG or WebP image — up to 4096 px, with a transparent background when you need one. No upload, no sign-up, and the SVG keeps waiting for you in the editor.
How to convert an SVG to a PNG
- Drop an SVG file. The vector is previewed immediately — everything is processed locally in your browser.
- Choose size and format. Set a custom width and height or use the 256/512/1024/2048 presets, then pick PNG (lossless, transparent), JPEG (compact) or WebP.
- Export. Hit Convert — the raster image downloads automatically and the SVG editor opens with the original vector on the canvas.
SVG to PNG FAQ
How do I convert an SVG to a PNG?
Drop your .svg file on the drop zone above, choose the output size (with the preset buttons or the width/height fields) and click Convert. The PNG is generated on a canvas in your browser and downloads instantly.
Which export size should I choose?
512 px works well for app icons and avatars, 1024 px for most graphics, and 2048 px or more for print-like sharpness. SVGs are resolution-independent, so rendering at 4× the display size always looks crisp.
Why does my SVG fail to convert?
The most common cause is an SVG that embeds external images (an <image href="http…"> pointing to another site). Browsers block reading cross-origin pixels to protect privacy — use an SVG without external images, with the artwork inlined.
Can I keep a transparent background?
Yes — PNG and WebP preserve transparency and it is on by default. JPEG has no alpha channel, so the transparent areas are filled with solid white.
