Validator — are the favicon links applied?

Paste any URL and check whether the favicon exists, which icon files the site declares and how they look.

How to create a favicon in three steps

  1. Pick a source. Type one or more letters and style them with any font, weight, size and color — or upload a PNG/JPG/SVG image, or search the 2,000+ icon library and use any SVG icon as your favicon.
  2. Preview everywhere. The live preview shows your favicon at 16–64 px and exactly how it will look in browser tabs, Google search results (desktop and mobile), on the iOS home screen, Android launcher, splash screen and tab switcher, as a Windows tile and in Safari pinned tabs — click any preview to inspect it in Full HD.
  3. Download and paste. Generate the package, upload the files to the root folder of your site and paste the provided HTML link tags into the <head> of every layout.

What's inside the favicon package

The generator builds every file a modern website needs, packed into a single ZIP:

  • favicon.ico — the classic favicon (16 + 32 + 48 px)
  • favicon-16x16.png & favicon-32x32.png — crisp browser tab icons
  • apple-touch-icon.png — iOS home screen (180×180)
  • android-chrome-192x192.png & android-chrome-512x512.png — Android / PWA icons
  • mstile-150x150.png + browserconfig.xml — Windows tiles
  • safari-pinned-tab.svg — Safari pinned tab mask
  • site.webmanifest — web app manifest with your site name and theme color
  • links.txt — all HTML <link> tags, ready to copy into every layout
